THE 589: Rendering and Portfolio Techniques

This course is being offered as an independent study for two graduate students, tailored to their specific needs. It will be offered in 2014 Summer II as an online, graduate level course. 

Course Description

Independent Study One: The purpose of this 589 Independent Study course is to familiarize you with various rendering techniques, such as gouache, markers, and computer imaging. Additionally, we will formulate a hard copy portfolio of your work suitable for submission to MFA-granting institutions.

Independent Study Two: The purpose of this 589 Independent Study course is to familiarize you with various rendering techniques, such as gouache, markers, and drop-point renderings. Additionally, we will formulate a digital portfolio of your work suitable for submission to MFA-granting institutions.
